After breakfast, will leave in the early morning for the drive to the Kibale Forest Park, about 7 hours. The park which is home to some 13 species of primates including the red colobus, chimpanzee, and L’Hoest’s monkey, as well as 70 mammal species. Kibaale Forest boasts of the highest number of primate species in the world, including our delightful cousins- the Chimpanzees. At this moment, in Uganda, there are approximately 4,950 Chimps left in the wild, which makes this forest a perfect and best place to spot chimpanzees in Africa! So here you be able to do bird watching/bird count, Mangoose tracking for half-day then have lunch, the later in the evening you will have rest and night at your so as to prepare for chimp tracking the next day. Then later after, the nature walk, interact with the communities around the park the back to your for rest and night.

After briefing, You will embark on chimp tracking in the Kibale Forest National Park, which takes about 2-3 hours. Besides many common features and mannerisms, chimpanzees also share 98% of our human DNA, making them our closest living relatives. It is not so surprising then that we find the habits and biology of these primates so fascinating to study. While chimpanzees can be found in 21 countries throughout Africa, they are most easily sighted in Uganda due to the high concentration of the species here. On Chimpanzee Tracking experience in Kibale Forest you will have the opportunity to follow an experienced guide into the forest to observe these fascinating creatures at a close range. Watching them interact with each other and go about their daily routine of grooming, playing and foraging is an incredible experience. While your chances of encountering chimpanzees are high during your tracking excursion, it is never 100% guaranteed. These are, after all, wild animals with wills and minds of their own! After socializing with the chimpanzee, you will be invited to engage in the human custom of a hot lunch. Served by local residents you will learn about the traditional cuisine of the region and its preparation. This meal will offer a nice insight into the local culture, as well as giving a real taste of Uganda!

We transfer to Queen Elizabeth with early Boat ride at Kazinga Channel, The only Natural Channel that connects Lake Goerge and Lake Edward, After Boat Ride we continue with Game safari in heart of Great Predators of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth boasts one of the highest bio diversity ratings of any game park or reserve in the world, from the open Savannah to Rain Forest, dense Papyrus Swamps and Crater Lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward. Set against the backdrop of the jagged Rwenzori Moutains, the park’s magnificent vistas include dozens of craters carved dramatically into rolling green hills, panoramic views of the Kazinga channel with its banks lined with hippos, buffalos and elephants

After our breakfast we transfer to Kyambura for another hunt for Primates at Kyambura Gorge, This is one the places that is located on cliff of Rift Valley and which has been identified as beautiful place for Chimpanzee Tracking Unique scenery: Kyambura is a sunken underground rainforest surrounded by cascading cliffs and arid savannah, you won't find a landscape like this anywhere else

Our journey today will continue south-west toward Kisoro, a bustling town to the south of Bwindi Forest, near the borders to Rwanda and Congo. This is one of our favorite drives in Uganda. The serpentine roads wind through lush rainforests, skirting hill tops (keep your eyes open for the volcanos!) and dipping into lively villages in the valley before arriving to the serene waters of Lake Mutanda Offering some of the best views in Uganda. In the evening, we arrive at the lodge where you’ll have dinner and rest for the next day

You have now reached a highlight of this Discover Uganda Safari; the gorilla trekking day. Prepare yourself for an encounter with one of Bwindi’s rare mountain gorilla. You will be required to wake up early and report to the visitor’s information center where you will be briefed on the procedure for gorilla trekking as well as allocated guides before heading out to the forest in search of the gorillas. Apart from the gorillas, Bwindi Forest boasts of other primate species such as the chimpanzees the only forest in Africa which can claim this, 113 species of mammal, over 200 butterflies and 360 birds. Your trek will be an exciting journey along forested slopes, entwined vines, bushes and bamboo before you eventually reach the gorillas’ habitat. En-route, your guide will point out signs of previous Gorilla activity, including dung, nests and chewed bamboo shoots. The time taken to track the Gorillas can take as little as 2 hours or more. Once the Gorillas have been located, your group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them. This is a fantastic and privileged opportunity to get up close and personal with Uganda’s very own ‘Gorillas in the Mist’

Today you will depart Bwindi to Entebbe. En-route, we have a stopover at the Uganda equator crossing for a requisite snap shot and some souvenir shopping and meals.
