Day by Day
Day 1
Arrival at Entebbe Airport.
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by Gorilla Sights Team for meet and greet, then transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe, a short drive from the airport. Its location gives you a beautiful feel of a leafy quiet environment. Arriving in new country is always different but Uganda will automatically become home away once you touch down at Entebbe Airport.

Day 2
To Murchison Falls- Ziwa Rhino 🦏 Sanctuary Stopover.
Today you make your way northwards via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (approx. 4 hours) a successful conservation project in Uganda that has seen southern white rhinos return to the wild. After your lunch, in the late afternoon hours, you will be accompanied by a knowledgeable guide for a nature walk including rhino tracking with chances to see the rhino at very close range. There is so much to learn about nature and the successes as your visit contribute a lot to the conservation of rhinos at the ranch. After our walk we continue to Murchison falls, Uganda’s largest national park with prolific wildlife. Its vast savannah grassland is home to four of the big five of the African Animal Kingdom. The park is beautifully bisected by the legendary River Nile and home to the world’s powerful Murchison falls. You arrive at your lodge with a spectacular view of the Nile and a friendly and cool natural environment.

Day 3
Wildness Experience.
Your day starts with a game drive on the northern sector of the park while animals are most active. While on a game drive in this savannah park, expect to see; elephants, buffalos, hartebeest, hyena, antelopes, and tropical birds, and keeping your eyes peeled for lions and leopards. After lunch at your lodge, get on board for a relaxing boat cruise on River Nile to see β€˜the most powerful falls in the world’. Spotted along the river and shoreline, are hippos and crocodiles, some animals quenching thirst, and birds. The view of the falls at the base is incredible and most visitors never miss this boat trip.

Day 4
Transfer To Chimpanzee Capital.
After your breakfast, you will drive southwards to Fort Portal through Hoima – a town fast developing due to the discovery of oil. Enjoy amazing scenery, interesting villages, and plenty of birdlife. Arrive at your beautiful lodge with stunning views over the crater lakes and across to the Rwenzori mountains. Relax at the lodge or feel free to take a stroll around the lodge to the lake.

Day 5
Meet Up with Chimpanzees.
After a briefing, you will embark on the chimp tracking in the Kibale Forest National Park, which takes about 2-3 hours. During the trek, you can see other primates such as grey-cheeked mangabeys, along with red tailed and blue monkeys. Expert guides share the secrets of the forest’s flora and fauna, ensuring that the hike is both informative and enjoyable. Kibale Forest has the highest number of primate species in the world, including our delightful cousins- the Chimpanzees. At this moment, in Uganda, there are approximately 4,950 chimps left in the wild, most of them we find in Kibale Forest. This forest houses the most Chimpanzees in Africa and is thus a perfect and the best place to spot chimpanzees in! Here, you’ll also be able to do bird watching/bird count, Mangoose tracking for half a day or we can decide to go for a community visit or Crater lakes Tour for the best of the views of Kibale National Park

Day 6
Transfer To Medley of Wonders- Endless Plains.
Drive (approx. 2-3 hours) through the crater lakes region to Queen Elizabeth National Park, stopping en route at places of interest like the founders making bronze sculptures or at scenic spots along the way. Be there by lunch and, later, embark on game safari in the most famous park of Uganda. Queen Elizabeth National Park, the 2 biggest national park of Uganda, Home to all the big four cats connected by the Natuaral Channel. Enjoy the endless Plains of Kazinga.

Day 7
Queen Elizabeth At Glance- Safari & Boat Cruise.
Today provides another outstanding wildlife experience as we move out early to spend 4 hours with the lion researchers. Participate in their activities on the day which may include monitoring species, climate, and habitat, learning about tracking and how tracking devices are used, and learning about the animals. Relax and enjoy your lunch then take an afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga Channel, known for its high concentration of hippos. Expect to see buffalo, crocodiles, elephants,s and a range of beautiful birds along the banks

Climbing Lion 🦁 Search- Transfer To Bwindi N Park.
We pass via Ishasha for the tree-climbing lions game viewing. Later, continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park home of the endangered mountain gorillas and also a UNESCO world heritage site approx. 7 hours away

Day 9
🦍 πŸ₯Ύ πŸ₯Ύ Gorilla O’clock Trekking 🦯 Experience.- Fully day.
The big day for Gorilla Tracking. We join the group for a briefing at 07:30. Thereafter, enjoy the jungle walk to locate your gorilla family (taking, on average, 3 to 8 hours in total). Once with them, you are allowed to watch the gorillas for one hour as they eat, play, groom, swing, and sleep. Afterward, have a relaxed community walk if time allows.

Lake Mburo - Tower of Girrafes
Start our journey to Lake Mburo, one of Uganda’s smallest yet amazing national parks. The park offers the only chance of seeing the zebra, eland, and impala on this trip. We make a stop at Igongo Cultural Centre for a local lunch. Then, continue into the park (about 1.5 hours). Enjoy an evening game drive exploring the park corners in search of the resident wildlife, such as impala, zebra, buffalos. Keep a look-out for the Rothschild’s giraffe

Go out with your guide for a safari walk and experience. After lunch We Travel to back to Entebbe for our scheduled flight with stop over at the Equator to stretch your legs, enjoy photo moments and cross from the southern to the northern hemisphere.
