About RWANDA

Murakaza Neza.,  Welcome to Rwanda, the "Land of a Thousand Hills." Rising phoenix-like from the tragic 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, Rwanda has transformed into a global model of reconciliation, cleanliness, and high-end sustainability. This small but mighty nation is fiercely protective of its wilderness, banning plastic bags and promoting car-free spaces to preserve its thriving biodiversity. From the vibrant Intore "dance of heroes" to the misty slopes of the Virunga Mountains, Rwanda offers a seamless blend of warm, proud culture and world-class conservation.

In the heart of Volcanoes National Park, the legacy of Dian Fossey lives on. Photographers and conservationists alike trek to her former research base, Karisoke, to pay respects at her tomb, which lies alongside her beloved Gorilla, Digit. This sacred site tells the story of the woman who sacrificed everything to save the mountain Gorillas from extinction. Today, Rwanda is one of the premier photography destination because of this proximity; The "land of a thousand hills" provides dramatic vertical landscapes, 13 primate species in Nyungwe’s ancient rainforests, and the "Big Five" in Akagera, all accessible within a few hours' drive. Once on the brink of collapse after the 1994 Genocide, Akagera National Park has undergone a legendary transformation through a partnership between the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) and African Parks. It is now the only place in Rwanda to experience a full Big five cats hence attracting various tourists both from Africa and allover the World.

Known as as "The Heart of Africa" It Country has attracted most photographers all looking way to have the legacy touch and the Fossey Legacy: Capturing Gorillas in the same mist-shrouded bamboo forests where Dian Fossey worked adds a profound historical narrative to your portfolio, To photographers who have big gargets, we find it easy to have Short Distances while its easy to take any short that crosses our lens., High Diversity: You can shoot golden monkeys in the morning and be at a vibrant Kigali dining scene or a tea plantation by sunset, Unrivaled Clarity: Due to the country's strict environmental laws and lack of pollution, the Mountain air is incredibly crisp, providing "tack-sharp" visibility for long-lens wildlife shots
