Day 1

Touch down at Entebbe Airport.

Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you’ll be met by Gorilla Sights Team who will welcome you to Uganda and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe which is 15 minutes drives. Entebbe town is incredibly a birding destination, we’ll have an afternoon visit to the amazing landscaped Entebbe Botanical Gardens right on the shores of Lake Victoria which is one of birding spots in Uganda . The birds that we expect you see include Orange Weaver, African fish eagle, Grey Parrot, Ross’s Turaco, Palm-nut Vulture, and Great blue turaco, which will be perfect start for our eves Journey in Uganda.

Day 2

Mabamba- Shoebill Search.

Search for the Shoebill to the Mabamba Swamps will start. A variety of species for your eyes to catch sight of include; The elusive Shoebill Papyrus Gonolek, White-faced Whistling-duck, Fulvous Whistling Duck, Goliath Heron, Purple Heron, Common Squacco Heron, Long-toed Plover, African water Rail, Grey and Black-headed Herons, Striated Heron, Pygmy Goose, Yellow-billed Duck, Black Crake, Swamp Moorhen, Allen’s Gallinule, African Jacana,Rufous-naped Lark, Flappet Lark, Mosque Swallow (monteiri race), Weyn’s Weaver, White-shouldered Tit, Sand Martin, Brown Snake-Eagle, Eurasian Hobby, Tropical Boubou, Striped Kingfisher, Common Stonechat, Little Bee-eater, Red-chested Cuckoo, Klass’s Cuckoo, Diedrick Cuckoo, White-browed and the Senegal Coucals, Yellow-rumped Tinkerbird, Yellow White-eye, common and black-capped Waxbill and over a hundred other bird species are a must-see for a hardcore or lucky birder.

Day 3

Route To Semulike-Birding Paradise

Beautiful Breakfast with singing cisticolas, Crows and amny others from beautiful gardens and embark on the transfer west towards Semuliki National park through Fort Portal-Bundibugyo to reach the park. This route has alot of bird species that will embrace you and make you fell that Uganda is perfect place for bird watchers, Remember that nothing that beats birding excusion on road side as most of bird species crosses through our Binochuras. arrive at the park in evening with beautiful weather that may allow us to start looking for 441 bird species including, the Nkulengu rail, Congo serpent eagle, Blue-bellied malimbe, Gabon Woodpecker, Maxwell’s black weaver, Spotted-breasted ibis, Long-tailed Hawk, Black-wattled hornbill, Chestnut-flanked goshawk, White-crested Hornbill, Red-rumped tinkerbird, Spotted honeyguide, Lyre-tailed honeyguide, Black dwarf hornbill, Red-bill hornbill, Zenker’s honeyguide, Simple greenbul, Eastern bearded greenbul, Sassi’s olive greenbul, Yellow-throated nictor, African piculet, Palm swamp greenbul, Fiery breasted bush shrike, Lowland akalat, Grey ground thrush, and Red-eyed Puffback. Full Day Birding in Semuliki N Park

The Park was once connected to the greater Ituri Forest that stretches from West Africa through the Congo basin. Exploration of the magical Kirumia trail. This is considered to be the furtherest eastern range for West African species which includes hornbills like the Red-billed Dwarf, White-crested, Black Dwarf, Black Casqued as well as other special species like the Yellow-throated Nicator, Capuchin Babbler African Piculet, Black-Faced Rufous Warbler, Lemon Billed Crombec, Long-Tailed.

Day 5

Birding To Sempaya Trail

After breakfast we will embark on another full-day birding adventure experience on either the main road Sempaya trail , our Expectations are Piping Hornbill, black dwarf hornbill, White-crested Hornbill, Red-billed dwarf hornbill, Black-casqued wattled hornbill, Red-rumped tinkerbird, Yellow-throated tinkerbird, Blue-breasted kingfisher, Frasier’s an-thrush, and Honeyguide greenbul. as we continue To Fortportal, Kibale National Park

Green Breasted Pitta Search- Kibale N Park

Our main focus of the day is intended to get up early for the forest with the main target target being the Green-breasted Pitta but also other specials like the Joyful Greenbul, Lowland Apalis. The afternoon will have us outside the park as we explore the Bigodi Wetland which the natives have preserved as it provides good opportunities for birds like the Yellow-billed Barbet, Speckle-breasted Woodpecker, White-spotted Flufftail

Day 7

Eves Of Kazinga Channel N Park

From the Tropical Forests of Kibale to Endless plains, Our next destination is a , Queen Elizabeth National Park. The Park is arguably one of best birding spots ranging from savannahs to lush wetlands and dense forests. Its standing on equatorial position fosters and rich in bird population, boasting over a staggering 610 species, with notable species such as Grey-backed Fiscal, Red-winged Pytilia, Short-tailed Eagle, Red-capped Lark, Black-bellied Bustard, Red-and-yellow Barbet, Pin-tailed Whydah, Saddle-billed Stork, Slender-tailed Nightjar, Swamp Nightjar, Blue-napped Mousebird, Grey-Headed Kingfisher, Pygmy Kingfisher, Little Bee-eater, Scarlet-chested Sunbird, Red-chested Sunbird being a highlight.

Day 8

Full Day Birding- Queen Elizabeth

We take our breakfast with whisling sounds of Eves and head out for full day experience of Birding along all the trails of Kazinga, Our day would like as we may spot bird species like Collard Pratincole, Temninck’s Courser, Kittlitz’s Plover. After lunch, In afternoon we take a boat trip along the Kazinga Channel. This narrow neck of water that connects Lakes George and Edward is one best birding spots to see excellent photographic opportunities for waterside birds, multiple bird species like an endless number of the Pied Kingfisher, African Skimmer, Red-throated Bee-eater, Long-tailed and Great Cormorants.

Day 9

Transfer To Bwindi- Buhoma

Morning with Breakfast and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After breakfast, we continue with birding routes through Ishasha Sector, The nuniques Maramagambo Forest bosts around 100 endermic spceis of Birds and this is perfect enroute transfer way to encounter all these. After we continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. UNESCO World Heritage Site, a home to approximately half of the world endangered population of Mountain Gorillas. This vast reserve also offers arguably the most productive montane forest birding in Africa and supports 25 of Uganda’s 23 Albertine Rift endemic bird species. The park was once part of a much larger forest that included the Virunga Volcanoes in neighbouring Rwanda. It's biodiversity and the richness of its flora and fauna. The diversity of birds in Bwindi National Park is extremely high, representing one of the forest's avifauna in Africa. The bird list for the park currently totals 360 species, 67 non-forest-dependent species, and 182 forest-dependent species.

Day 10

Full Day Experience of Eves in Buhoma

In search for the birdlife of Bwindi, A Fusion of Lowland and Highland Bird Species Today, we explore the Buhoma Main Trail, renowned for its remarkable blend of lowland and highland species. This unique fusion makes Buhoma a premier birding destination in Uganda as we head towards the waterfalls within the forest. This stretch provides us with opportunities for sightings of the Neumann’s warbler, Dusky long-tailed Cuckoo, Grey-breasted Babbler, Willard’s Sooty Boubou, African Hill Babbler, Grey-winged, Red-capped, Blue-shouldered, and Snowy-crowned Robin-Chats, accompanied by the melodies of Grey, Black-throated, and Buff-throated Apalises. We may also spot Grey-headed and White-breasted Nigritas, while the sweet tunes of the White-bellied Robin-Chat and Cabanis's Greenbul echo through the trees. Be keen as we look for vibrant Red-headed Malimbe, Dusky Tit, and an array of cuckoos, including African Emerald, Red-chested, Klaas's, and Dusky Long-tailed Cuckoo.

Day 11

Transfer To Ruhija

Rujija sector, One Bwindi's National Park, that has stand out to be one of the best highlights of any trip to Uganda with excellent birding in spectacular surroundings. Birds are both plentiful and easy to see; many species associating in mixed feeding flocks that are active throughout the day. The journey between Buhoma and Ruhija has us moving through “the neck” which is a small stretch of forest that connects the northern sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to the southern sector and this small stretch provides a birding hotspot. We intend to make a few stops along the way to look for species such as the Jameson’s Ant-pecker Birding in this sector is so advantageous becuase of amazing birds that are living on this high attitude . In scrubby areas, we’ll look out for Ross’s Turaco, Red-throated Wryneck, Copper and Variable Sunbirds, Black-necked and Holub’s Golden Weavers, Yellow Bishop Brown-backed Scrub-Robin, and Black-throated Seed-eater, Black sparrow hawk, Western bronze-napped pigeon, Pettit’s cuckoo-shrike, White-chinned Prinia, Mountain Wagtail, Pink-footed puff back, Cinnamon-chested bee-eater, Yellow-crowned Canary, Cassin’s

Day 12

Transfer To Mgahinga

After breakfast, We transfer to one of exciting birding adventure deep into Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Today’s focus is on discovering some of the Albertine Rift endemics that make this area a top destination for birdwatchers, The park is connected to the great Virunga Forest that connects the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda, The magnificent Rwenzori Turaco and the elusive Dwarf Honeyguide (Indicator pumilio) are spme of uniques species to why we are set our binochuras to this beautiful destination. These unique species are often high on the target list for any Albertine Endemics Birdwatching Tour.

Day 13

Mgahinga Eves Birding.

We hike the Montane forest in search for high altitude species as we keep our binoculars ready for sightings of the Kivu Ground Thrush (Geokichla piaggiae) and the vibrant Rwenzori Double-collared Sunbirds Robin-Chat Cinnamon Bracken Warbler and Mountain Yellow Warbler, flitting among the dense undergrowth. Not forgetting colourful Dusky Crimsonwing and Red-faced Crimsonwing feeding quietly along the forest trails.

Day 14

Birding To Lake Mburo.

After our breakfast, We go through the magical Kigezi rolling Highlands towards Lake Mburo National Park. We’ll of course be on the search for any missed bird species, we shall keep an eyes out for bird sightings along the way. Alot of Grey crowned Cranes that we will be able spot on way, Long created Eagles, Harrier Hawks, Aurgur buzzards, Kites, Flacons.

Day 15

Full Day Eves of Lake Mburo.

Lake Mburo sprawls across 370 metres, This small Colido of birds is another Ugand's Birding Spots that is home to around 390 bird species that most eves hunter are looking for, Full Park Binochuras Hunt will be an oppoturnity for us to conclude all our list anf here we are able to see species like Red-faced Barbet and Black-collared Barbet, African Finfoot which is considered must-see while in the area. We shall also have other sightings such as the Red-headed Weaver, Spot-flanked Barbet, Crested Barbet, Red-faced Barbet, Pearl-spotted Owlet. species, notable sightings include the White-backed Night- Heron, African Finfoot, African Darter, Northern Brown-Throated Weaver, Purple Heron, Palm-nut Vulture, Black Crake, Knobbed-billed Duck, Red-faced Barbet, Black-collared Barbet, Crested Barbet, Bateleurs and all Voltures.

White-spotted Flufftail, Blue-breasted Kingfisher, Narina Trogon ' , Western Nicator, Grey-throated Tit-flycatcher,, Fire-crested Alethe, Scaly-breasted Illadopsis, Congo Pied Hornbill, Red-headed Malimbe, Chestnut Wattle-eye, Western Black-headed Oriole, Hooded Vulture.
