Upon arrival at the Airport, Gorilla Sights Safaris will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. After checking in we embark on our Photography at Lake Victoria looking for the fishing Kingfishers The others birds that we can photography are, Ruff, Wood, Common, Marsh Sandpipers, Common Green Shank, Long-tailed and Great Cormorants, Madagascar Bee-eater, Green Crombec, Orange weaver, Entebbe Weaver (an endemic to Uganda that was recorded at the site only once), White spotted fluftail.

After breakfast, we go to search for the Shoebill in the Mabamba Swamps, starting our adventures in Uganda. A variety of species for your eyes to catch sight of include the elusive Shoebill Papyrus Gonolek, the White-faced Whistling-duck, the Fulvous Whistling Duck, the Goliath Heron, the Purple Heron, the Common Squacco Heron, the Long-toed Plover, the African Water Rail, Grey and Black-headed Herons, the Striated Heron, the Pygmy Goose, the Yellow-billed Duck, the Black Crake, the Swamp Moorhen, Allen’s Gallinule, the African Jacana, the Rufous-naped Lark, the Flappet Lark, the Mosque Swallow (monteiri race), the Weyn’s Weaver, the White-shouldered Tit, the Sand Martin, the Brown Snake-Eagle, the Eurasian Hobby, the Tropical Boubou, the Striped Kingfisher, the Common Stonechat, the Little Bee-eater, the Red-chested Cuckoo, Klass’s Cuckoo, the Diedrick Cuckoo, White-browed and the Senegal Coucals, the Yellow-rumped Tinkerbird, Yellow White-eye, common and black-capped Waxbill and over a hundred other bird species are a must-see for a hardcore or lucky birder. You could also see a swamp antelope, the Sitatunga and much more wildlife

Drive to Murchison Falls, you will have a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where Southern White Rhinos are being re Introduced in Uganda under the Rhino Fund.

Go for an early morning game drive. This is a beautiful drive across Borassus Palm Forest and grassland savannah down to Lake Albert where the Albert Nile heads north. In the afternoon, go for a boat ride up the Nile to Murchison falls, where the park derives its name. Enjoy these spectacular falls where the Nile squeezes through a 7meter gap, and at the bottom bask Huge Nile Crocodiles. You have an option to climb the cliffs, to the top of the falls revealing another startling side of these falls. Return to Hotel by car.

After breakfast, we leave in the early morning to the Kibale Forest Park, which takes about 7 hours. The park is home to 13 species of primates including the red colobus, chimpanzee, and L’Hoest’s monkey, as well as 70 mammal species. In the late afternoon, we arrive in the lodge and you will be able to rest and have a good night sleep, in preparation for the chimpanzee tracking the next day.

After a briefing, you will embark on the chimp tracking in the Kibale Forest National Park, which takes about 2-3 hours. During the trek, you can see other primates such as grey-cheeked mangabeys, along with red tailed and blue monkeys. Expert guides share the secrets of the forest’s flora and fauna, ensuring that the hike is both informative and enjoyable. Kibale Forest has the highest number of primate species in the world, including our delightful cousins- the Chimpanzees. At this moment, in Uganda, there are approximately 4,950 chimps left in the wild, most of them we find in Kibale Forest. This forest houses the most Chimpanzees in Africa and is thus a perfect and the best place to spot chimpanzees in! Here, you’ll also be able to do bird watching/bird count, Mangoose tracking for half a day or we can decide to go for a community visit or Crater lakes Tour for the best of the views of Kibale National Park.

After a cup of coffee and breakfast, we drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. We reach in time for lunch. In the afternoon we go for game safari in search for savannah animals and cats along Kazinga Channel. The animals include, Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs , Buffalos , Elephants and Many others

Today you will have an Early Morning Game Drive, and an afternoon boat ride on Kazinga Channel. Queen Elizabeth boasts one of the highest bio diversity ratings of any game park or reserve in the world, from the open Savannah to Rain Forest, dense Papyrus Swamps and Crater Lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward. Set against the backdrop of the jagged Rwenzori Moutains, the park’s magnificent vistas include dozens of craters carved dramatically into rolling green hills, panoramic views of the Kazinga channel with its banks lined with hippos, buffalos and elephants Optional Activity; Lion Tracking For visitors who yearn to get up close to wild African fauna, a research trip is a rewarding adventure. This unique experience allows visitors to actively participate in monitoring some of the lions in the park, using locator devices and learning habituation calls, as well as monitoring weather, surroundings and the behavior of these great cats. The results are added to researchers’ databases, contributing valuable information to the overall understanding of wildlife ecology - and helping to conserve this wonderful ecosystem. This gives you a 95% chance to see the lions! The number of people on each outing is limited in order to reduce stress on the animals and to increase the quality of the experience for visitors. The experiential tourism activities currently available are; Mongoose Tracking, Hippo Census, and Bird Counts.

We head off to the Ishasha part of Queen Elizabeth National Park in the morning. There's a chance of seeing baboons and elephants along the way. In Ishasha you find topis, buffaloes and we search for the tree-climbing lions. The lions in this area are famous for climbing up great fig trees to take a rest. After breakfast, photographic safari in the Ishasha sector, the southern region of Queen Elizabeth NP, in search for the “tree climbing lions” which are seen during the hot hours of the day, as they lie resting on top of Figs trees. See also herds of buffaloes, elephants, topi antelopes and many species of birds. Lunch en route. Reach Bwindi National Park by evening for dinner and overnightnNote: Today transfer can be very long up to 7 hours and depends on roads conditions and place of allocation of gorilla permits. The choice of the area of the gorilla safari depends on the availability of permits.

You have now reached the highlight of this Photography Safari; the gorilla tracking day. Prepare yourself for an encounter with Bwindi’s rare mountain gorillas. You will be required to wake up early and report to the visitor’s information center where you will be briefed on the procedures for gorilla tracking as well as the allocated guides before heading out to the forest in search of the gorillas. Next to gorillas, Bwindi Forest boasts of other primate species such as chimpanzees. Bwindi is the only forest in Africa which can claim 113 species of mammals, over 200 butterflies and 360 species of birds. Your trek will be an exciting journey along forested slopes, entwined vines, bushes and bamboo, before you eventually reach the gorillas’ habitat. En route, your guide will point out signs of previous gorilla activity, including dung, nests and chewed bamboo shoots. The time to track the gorillas can take up to 2 hours or more, depending on the location of the gorilla family. Once the gorillas have been located, your group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them. This is a fantastic and privileged opportunity to get up close and personal with Uganda’s very own ‘Gorillas in the Mist’

After breakfast, you will say goodbye to the Kigezi Highlands and drive back to Entebbe for you flight back home. On the leisurely drive, you will stop at several places for photos and souvenirs - allowing you to 'cement' the good memories. After breakfast you will drive to. You will have lunch at the Equator before continuing to Entebbe. You will reach Entebbe in the evening in time to catch your flight.
